Welcome to Kingdom Tree’s Apprenticeship Program – a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in meaningful, hands-on learning at the heart of our community garden. As a nonprofit dedicated to providing fresh, organic produce for those in need, we are looking for passionate, driven individuals to join our team in one of four departments: Agriculture, Creative Arts, Special Needs Education, and Business.​​

1. Agriculture Department
   Get your hands dirty and learn the fundamentals of regenerative farming. Our agriculture apprentices work directly with our team to grow fresh produce that supports local families in need. You’ll gain experience in everything from soil health to harvesting, and be an integral part of our mission to provide free, nutritious food to the community.

2. Creative Arts Department (Media & Promotion)
   If you have a passion for visual storytelling, this is the department for you! As an apprentice in our Creative Arts team, you’ll help promote Kingdom Tree through video, photography, and other creative media. You’ll work on capturing the stories of our garden, the community we serve, and the impact of our work. From creating compelling videos and social media content to documenting events and milestones, you’ll play a key role in spreading the word about our mission and engaging a wider audience. Ideal for those with a creative eye and a desire to use their skills for a greater purpose.

3. Special Needs Education Department
   Kingdom Tree believes in inclusivity, and we are committed to offering educational experiences to individuals with special needs. Apprentices in this department will work directly with students, helping them develop new skills in the garden, arts, and other educational activities. This is a fulfilling opportunity to help create a welcoming, accessible environment for everyone.

4. Business Department
   This department is ideal for those interested in an entrepreneurial development training course. Apprentices will help build the organizational side of Kingdom Tree, supporting everything from fundraising to outreach and event planning. Learn the inner workings of a nonprofit as you contribute to our mission’s growth and sustainability.

Important Information:

Our apprenticeship program is unpaid, but each apprentice will receive invaluable hands-on experience and the opportunity to develop critical skills that can serve as a foundation for future career opportunities. To help support your journey with Kingdom Tree, each apprentice will be given their own personalized fundraising page. This page allows friends, family, and community members to contribute to your apprenticeship experience, helping to cover costs and support your development throughout the program.
